Action Focus supports small to medium organizations, as well as the employee, at time of downsizing or major change. Our Career Transition Service is designed to help the organization and the individual move through the change and cope with the transition process as smoothly as possible.

 

Often a small organization has limited resources to handle employee retrenchment. Action Focus provides objective career transition support to both the organization and the departing employee. Utilising our expertise developed from handing numerous transition programs, Action Focus provides assistance at all three stages of the process:
  1. Supporting the organisation through the termination process
  2. Information sessions on Career Transition
  3. On-site support to individuals on termination
This usually includes:
  • Providing guidance on how to conduct a termination meeting
  • Assistance to write scripts for manager’s conversations
  • A Career Coach to support employees through all stages of the transition process including: coping with job loss; learning job search techniques and managing a job search effectively
  • Efficient management of the process that ensures the downsizing is handled effectively
