Career Coaching and Transition

A small organisation approached Action Focus to help one of their staff, Ted. He was not happy in his role and he had been taking extended sick leave. Ted felt he had to stay in this job as he had a young family to look after did not know what else he could do. The coaching program included a personality profiling assessment that reviewed Ted’s job interests, preferred work style and ideal culture.

After Ted has redefined his career goals he then had a career conversation with his manager he decided to leave the organisation. Action Focus supported Ted throughout his job search that included writing a new resume, making job applications, interview practice and troubleshooting along the way. In three months Ted found a new role and his health has improved since he moved to a role that suited him.
