Jane had a role in the health service and had enjoyed a variety of jobs across Australia and overseas in her seven years work experience. Jane was able to define what she was looking for in a new role and organisation but she did not know how to market herself. She felt that she needed help of a Career Coach to get to the next stage of her career planning.
Action Focus created a program over five sessions in which we reviewed Jane’s key achievements and preferred work culture. Using these insights I assisted her through a rewrite of her resume and preparation for interviews. Jane researched new opportunities, spoke to some of my networking contacts and explored ideas for her new career direction. Within four months Jane’s perseverance paid off and she landed a role that would enable her to develop a new career in project management for not-for-profit organisations.
